Freddie is an 8-year-old, 15lb Shih-Poo mix with a heart full of love and a gentle, easygoing spirit. After being abandoned at our vet’s office due to financial hardship, Freddie received the care he needed, including a full dental cleaning and the removal of a benign skin mass on his neck. He’s now fully healed and ready to find a forever home where he’ll be cherished.

Freddie is the definition of a social butterfly. He’s never met a stranger and gets along wonderfully with other dogs, cats, and kids. He enjoys being picked up and will even give you a little hop to make it easier. On walks, Freddie is relaxed and content to take his time, often pausing to take in the world around him. He does bark a bit when first crated, but quickly settles down.

House training is going well - he may mark a few times in a new space, but a belly band helps with the adjustment, and he’s otherwise reliable. Freddie is a people-oriented pup who follows his humans from room to room like a little shadow. He’s great in the car, making him an excellent companion for errands or weekend outings.

Freddie is a wonderful mix of calm and active—he enjoys running around but also knows how to relax. His gentle nature, social personality, and easygoing vibe make him an ideal addition to many types of households.
