Once a terrified stray, she had to be darted by animal control to get her to safety—a scary experience that sadly damaged her eye, which has since been removed. Despite her rough beginnings, Itsy is proving that she has so much love to give.

Itsy is naturally shy and cautious, but once she feels safe, her playful and affectionate side shines through. She enjoys snuggles with her foster mom, loves her toys, and is learning that people can be trusted. Her journey is one of slow, steady progress—and that’s exactly what she’ll need in her forever home.

Itsy’s perfect match will understand that her transition will be a marathon, not a sprint. She will likely regress at first in a new environment, but with patience and consistency, she will blossom into the best little companion. Because of her background, she has two non-negotiables:

Itsy is crate trained and currently uses puppy pads, but she can transition to outdoor potty routines once she feels secure going outside in her new home.
