Luca is a 6-month-old Blue Heeler/Pit Bull Terrier mix who’s the total package. Smart, confident, social, and ready for adventure! Currently being fostered by a professional balanced dog trainer, Luca has an incredible foundation that sets him up for success. He’s crate trained, knows place, and has solid obedience skills. This boy is a go-anywhere, do-anything kind of companion who loves tagging along on outings and taking in the world with curiosity and confidence.

Luca has a medium energy level and a great off switch. He’s loves to train and play, then settle down for a nap. He’s dog-social and has even lived with a cat (though his play style can be a little rough).

Luca did previously live in a home with young children, but the busy environment proved too stressful and trigger stacking for him. He would thrive in a home with older kids or adults only, where his training and personality can continue to shine.
