Indie is a 1 year old, 40lb Carolina Dog mix currently soaking up love at her foster home in Landrum, SC.

In foster care, Indie lives peacefully with two small dogs, two cats, and even a bunny friend (with supervision). She’s crate trained, potty trained, and eager to keep learning, especially if snacks are involved!

Indie is playful, curious, and full of personality. She’ll run joyful zoomies in the yard, splash around in water, and then happily curl up to relax with a bone or nap nearby. She’s the perfect mix of fun and mellow — independent yet affectionate in her own way.

Because of her rough start on the streets, Indie is scared and nervous in new environments. She’s not a “take me everywhere” kind of dog — no brewery outings or road trips required. What she truly needs is a patient, loving human with a securely fenced yard who will give her time to trust and thrive at home.
