Pony is a 10-year-young Chihuahua with a big personality packed into her tiny 8-pound frame. After coming from a hoarding situation, she's been learning all the good things life has to offer  cozy beds, toys, treats, sunshine, and the comfort of being loved.

Shes crate trained, pad trained, and mostly potty trained, and she's picked up some pretty adorable habits along the way. Pony loves to dance for treats, enjoys snuggling with her person, and thinks potty time deserves its own celebration.

Pony currently lives with dogs ranging from 7 to 45 pounds and gets along well with them. When it comes to her people, she bonds deeply and loves hard. With strangers, though, she takes her job as tiny protector seriously. New visitors can make her nervous, and her foster crates her when company comes over since Pony prefers not to entertain guests and may bark or try to nip at ankles. Once she knows and trusts you, however, she is fiercely loyal and your best friend for life.

Because of this, Pony would do best in a child-free, lower-chaos home with someone who understands that the best relationships take time. She's funny, loving, and full of personality, and for the right person, she will be an incredibly rewarding companion.

Pony has spent her senior years learning how good life can be. Now she's ready for a forever home to spend the rest of them in.
