adult female Heeler/Pittie Mix - Bostic, NC

At around 3 years old, this Pittie/Heeler mix has settled beautifully into home life and has been such a joy to foster.

She is incredibly sweet, affectionate, and snuggly. Melodie loves to gently scoot her way over for attention, rest her head on your shoulder, and completely melt into you. She’s the kind of dog who just wants to be close to her people.

Melodie has a wonderful medium energy level. She’s perfectly content being crated while we work full time, loves playing in the yard with the other dogs, and proudly carries her favorite toys around like little babies. She also does the CUTEST tippy-tap dance when she gets excited.

She absolutely adores children and has done wonderfully with the 4 other dogs in our home, including small dogs. She LOVES to play with her French Bulldog friends. She is house trained, crate trained, non-reactive on walks, and walks beautifully on a prong collar or Sidekick Halti (videos available). She can be strong puller on a regular collar or harness.

She truly is such a loving, fun, easy companion and deserves an amazing home of her own.

Melodie’s adoption includes a virtual or in person training session with Hopeful Hearts Canine Collective to set her up for success (not that she has problems, we just want her adoption to be great!).
